Children's Facilities
Children are unfortunately not accommodated between 15 January and 15 March.
Playground
At our associate hotel, Coral Reef Club, 2 minutes drive away, there is an unsupervised playground available for children up to the age of 10 years. There are swings, a slide and a playhouse. There is complimentary supervision in the playhouse for 2 – 8 year olds between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Supervision must be booked by 12 noon. Please note that, whilst there is responsible and friendly supervision, there are no organized activities.
Babysitting
A babysitter is US$7.50 per hour during the day and US$12.50 per hour at night. Minimum of US$25.00 per day or night.
Equipment
We have a limited number of the following items available upon request, at no additional charge: cribs, high chairs, beds with sides, play pens, push chairs, bottle sterilizing tablets, children’s books, monitors, mosquito nets and kettles.
Family Programme
We have designed a special family program for children between the ages of 2 and 12 years. All features listed below are available weekly at no additional charge, between 01 July and 13 August 2011 and between 01 July and 11 August 2012.
- Three half hour sailing lessons
- Three half hour swimming lessons
- Two hours per day of supervised care for children between 2 and 8 years, Monday to Friday
Restaurants
We have children’s room service dinner available between 5.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m., which should be ordered with the Maitre D’ by noon. For younger babies, the Chef is happy to organize blended food (fresh vegetables etc). We do request that children under 5 years are not brought into the restaurant during dinner service. May we ask your consideration, that when your child is in the restaurant, if they become restless or noisy, please would you be kind enough to take them for a “brief walk”.
Sports
Older children can enjoy the complimentary watersports including including Hobie Cat sailing, Laser and Sunfish sailing, Kayaking, Paddle boarding and Snorkeling. They may also enjoy the tennis pro's clinics.
